Domestic Short Hair

9 Years

Meet Gracie! This beautiful tabby is anxiously waiting for that magical moment when her person comes to find her! Gracie adores her human friends, but would prefer a home with no other cats. Gracie and her previous owner had to move in with a family member, and she simply could not adjust to the other cats in the home; that is when she found herself at DuPage County Animal Care and Control. Now Gracie is looking for a forever home where she can be the queen of the castle, and the center of your attention. Gracie is struggling with the stress of shelter life which can make her come across as crabby; but we have seen the true Gracie and know how sweet and affectionate she can be. Gracie enjoys being social. She will roll around and purr when you pet her. In fact, when it came to picture time, she never did stop rolling around! Gracie’s previous owner reports that “she gives kisses and loves to sleep with you and cuddle”. At nine years old Gracie would be considered middle aged, as some cats can live to be twenty years old. If this calm and friendly girl might be the one for you, don’t wait any longer! Gracie’s adoption fee has been pre-paid and she comes with six months of food, so her adoption just became that much easier!
