Arrrooooo! My name is Evalina! I am the sweetest little Beagle that you will ever meet. Perhaps I look familiar to you, I’ve been here before. Back in August I was here at DCACC. At that time I had been rescued from a life of outdoor breeding. I didn’t know much more than living outside and how to be a good momma. Once at the shelter I learned that people can be kind, and it’s nice to be inside where I am safe and warm. I was adopted in August, but it wasn’t the right fit, so I am back and ready to find my FOREVER home! I am a bit timid when it comes to new things. When I feel overwhelmed, I’ve been known to pull the “flatten like a pancake” trick. But if you have a little patience and understanding with me, I will eventually come around. I do like other dogs, especially calm and gentle ones. My perfect home would have a fenced in yard (since I don’t like to potty when out on a leash); possibly a nice calm dog friend; and gentle, loving people who will take the time with me that I need. I am a total sweetheart, and if you take a chance on me, I will repay you with a lifetime of snuggles!
