Responsibilities

The West Chicago Fire Protection District is dedicated to providing a variety of fire and medical services designed to protect the lives and property of fire district residents, fire department personnel, and visitors. The West Chicago Fire Protection District encompasses most of West Chicago as well as parts of St. Charles, Warrenville, and Winfield. The District operates four fire stations and a variety of different vehicles to keep its residents safe from medical emergencies, fire emergencies, and natural disasters.  View map of the district

Compensation

$3,000-$4,500 annually, depending on level of certification

Applicants must be electors residing in the West Chicago Fire Protection District.
