ResponsibilitiesThe Investigator General receives and conducts the initial review of complaints regarding unethical conduct of the County Chairman, County Board, or any County employee for the Ethics Commission. The Investigator General also acts as prosecutor of a complaint, if a hearing is conducted.

Compensation$185 per hour
QualificationsApplicant may not be an employee of DuPage County or any other unit of government. Applicant must be an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Appointees may not run for any elective office or hold any other elected or appointed public office except for an appointment to an uncompensated advisory board or study commission while they serve as Investigator General.
