OW/OD Trucking Movement Permit Application Procedures
New Account Set-Up:
- An account must be set-up with the
Division of Transportation (DPC DOT) prior to acceptance of any applications
or issuance of any movement permits on County designated routes. Please
note that processing for new account applications takes approximately 48
hours from receipt (hours 8 am - 4:30 pm, excluding weekends and

Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) movement permit number (if
applicable). Any movements over Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA)
bridges requires that a copy of a permit from the ISTHA is provided at time
of a DuPage County DOT application submittal.

Division of Transportation staff will:
- Verify the requested
movement route against all DuPage County DOT designated roadway limits,
including associated weight restrictions and any bridge
over/underpasses (height clearance and weight restrictions).

must be received by the end of the current month or within thirty (30) days
of issuance of the statement. Any overdue invoices will require the applicant

OWOD permit to the applicant.

NOTICE: All applications for movement permits
must include the truck license plate information (state/number) and IDOT
movement permit number (if applicable). Any incomplete forms submitted
will be returned to the applicant for re-submittal for the proper
information prior to its approval/issuance.
