DuPage County Stormwater Management Congratulates Water Quality Improvement Grant Recipient
DuPage County Stormwater Management would like to
congratulate Water Quality Improvement Grant recipient North Central College
(Naperville) on the completion of their Sesquicentennial Walkway for foot
traffic through the heart of the campus.
Stormwater Management provided an $118,800 grant to
construct green infrastructure implementations into the project. The Walkway
features permeable brick pavers to reduce and slow stormwater runoff.
Additionally, rain gardens were constructed alongside the Walkway to collect
stormwater runoff and filter pollutants carried with it.
