The information below on recycling & green events is provided as a service to the residents of DuPage County. Inclusion is not
intended as an endorsement of any of company or event, nor has the County purposely excluded any additional events. The events listed below are open to the public(unless otherwise indicated). No hazardous waste, fluorescent bulbs, paint, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, or air conditioners will be
accepted at any events.
April 8, 2017 - Wheaton Document Shredding 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. - Commuter Parking Lot 9 (Corner of Carlton and Liberty). Free document shredding services available. Limit of 3 boxes (size of boxes should be the equivalent of
standard copier paper/office boxes.
April 22, 2017 - Glen Ellyn Earth Day & Recycling Extravaganza 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. - Duane & Lorranie Parking Lot.
April 22, 2017 - Glendale Heights Recycling Extravaganza 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. - GH2O Aquatic Center Parking Lot; 240 Civic Center Plaza. Event Flyer
April 22, 2017 - Lisle Township Shred Day 9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. - 4711 Indiana Ave., Lisle. Regular staples and small clips do not need to be removed. All other binding must be removed. Residents may drop off documents or watch documents being shred at the event.
April 22, 2017 - Schaumburg Recycling Event 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Boomers Stadium West Lot; 1999 s. Springinsguth Rd.
April 22, 2017 - Elk Grove Village Earth Day Recycling Event 8 a.m. - 11 a.m., Elk Grove High School Parking Lot.
April 27, 2017 - GreenTown presented by the Fox Valley Sustainability Network - Two Brothers Roundhouse; 205 N. Broadway, Aurora
