Title: Supervisor of Voting Facilities

Closing Date: Until Filled

Department: Election Commission

Hours: Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., including evenings, weekends and holidays as required

Salary: $32,442-$54,071 annually

There is one position open at this time.

Responsibilities include:
•    Serves as primary source for Commission voting locations
•    Maintains voting location file
•    Communicates with political party and location contacts to secure locations
•    Conducts site surveys of locations
•    Ensures ADA compliance of all voting locations
•    Communicates recommendations of location per election needs
•    Investigates issues raised regarding polling places
•    Manages inventory of Early Voting equipment
•    Oversees configuration and distribution of Early Voting equipment and materials
•    Conducts Early Voting Judge training
•    Manages office supplies at Wheaton warehouse
•    Responsible for processing mail, maintaining mail equipment and tracking various mail accounts
•    Assists in Election production

Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
•    Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) equivalent
•    Two (2) years of experience in customer service/public relations and one (1) year of supervisory experience in a service based environment; or, an equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above

The preferred candidate will have:
•    Ability to prioritize and assign work
•    Computer experience including a general knowledge of office equipment.
•    Ability to resolve conflict
•    Ability to recognize problems, identify solutions, and make appropriate recommendations
•    Compile and analyze data and information
•    Write and edit documents
•    Manage calendars
•    Communicate to use interpersonal skills
•    Skill in Microsoft Office software
