This chart was compiled to provide the following information:

Initial 2012 Level of Assessment: The three-year median level of assessment prior to any changes made by the Township Assessor as measured by the Illinois Department of Revenue. Source: Illinois Department of Revenue PTAX-215, Dated 07/19/2012.

Township Lockout Date: The date the Township Assessor completed updating their assessment information for the current tax year.

Level after Township Assessor's Changes: Our internal estimate of the three-year median level after the township assessor made their revisions for the assessment year.

Supervisor of Assessments Equalization Factor: The factor individual parcels were multiplied by to adjust the weighted three-year average level of assessment to the statutory level. The factor is applied to both the land and the improvement portion of the assessed value. See Equalization Factor Calculation Background for more information.

Notice Mailing: Owners of property who’s assessments were changed by means other than the global application of an equalization factor are mailed a change of assessment notice. The date in this column refers to when the notice was mailed. During general reassessment years (2007 and 2011 for example), a change of assessment notice is mailed for each parcel.

Publication: Name of newspaper that published the Assessor and Supervisor of Assessments individual assessment changes. If an individual parcel's assessment is altered by the application of a Supervisor of Assessments factor only, there will not be an individual parcel assessment included in this legal publication.

Publication Date: The date the assessment changes were published in the newspaper listed.

Final Date for Filing Assessments Complaints: The deadline for filing an assessment complaint with the DuPage County Board of Review for this Township.

Potential 2012 Supervisor of Assessments Equalization Factors: This is an estimate of the potential factors assuming that the township assessor's revisions do not alter the current level of assessment by more than +/-1%.

Prior year assessment publication and appeal deadline information is available from the 2001 to 2011 Assessment Status Report.
