Take The Challenge...Dollars for Doggies & Kash for Kitties!
Friends of DuPage County Animal Care & Control Is Hosting "Take the Challenge Month" in Honor of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week (November 1 - 7, 2009)
You're invited to "Take the Challenge" by Raising Dollars for Doggies & Kash for Kitties!
DuPage County Animal Care & Control (DCACC) is a self-supporting open admission animal shelter. Our means of support is primarily through the revenue generated from the sale of rabies tags. Contrary to popular belief, we do not receive any tax dollars!
Friends of DuPage County Animal Care & Control is a not-for-profit foundation created for the sole purpose of ensuring that DCACC will never turn away any animal in need. Friends of DCACC raise funds to help cover expenses beyond the scope of the general operating budget.
How can you help our shelter animals? Take the Challenge!!!!
The Challenge is for any individual or group to raise Dollars for Doggies & Kash for Kitties during the month of November. The fundraiser can be a penny war in a classroom or an entire school. It could be a bake sale, garage sale, or craft sale. You name it! Perhaps a group who rake leaves for donations in their neighborhood. Be creative! Host a walkathon or a dance marathon for pledges! You decide! Wouldn’t a silent auction be fun? Use your imagination!
To Enter: Mail or bring your completed entry form to the DCACC shelter by Saturday, November 7th. Then, use your imagination and raise your Dollars for Doggies & Kash for Kitties! Then, drop off your funds raised to the DCACC shelter by November 30th (or postmark by November 30th) to help our homeless pets. Good luck!
