Subsidizing the adoption fee does not lessen the merit of our adoption process.
-
Adoption is a process that removes the impulse factor and enlists the realities of pet ownership, by addressing follow up care, annual care and what supplies are needed.
-
We encourage first time adopters to the shelter to learn about the responsibility of owning an animal, and are here to help with questions and input.
-
Families that decide to adopt, tend to adopt for a lifetime.
-
DuPage County Animal Care and Control is working to make good matches that encourage the human animal bond.
-
The process of making good matches involves education and information about each animal.
