Making
the Connection –
a quick guide to mainstream services
Often agencies are faced with the dilemma
of how to pay for a car repair, purchase a birth certificate,
or pay initial employment expenses for an individual they serve.
At times, these types of services are able to be provided by local,
state or federal agencies. This directory identifies the supportive
services that may be available to individuals who receive public
benefits. The directory includes some of the qualifying criteria
to receive the supportive service, as well as contact information
and is organized by government level delivering the service, and
the public benefit the person has to be eligible for in order
to receive the service.
