The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) 2009 was signed into law on February 17, 2009.  DuPage County is a recipient of ARRA funding.

Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) - $1,443,723
The Grant Agreement for $1,443,723 has been received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The DuPage Homeless Continuum, Grants Funding Committee, acting as the County's liaison, received ten (10) applications in response to its Request for Proposals (RFP) for HPRP funds.  CDC Staff reviewed the applications and the Continuum agreed with the recommendations of the CDC Staff. 

The recommendation process requires all requests for funding to be presented and acted upon by the CDC Executive Committee, the Development Committee and finally to the County Board.  Pending County Board 's approval of any or all agreements, the funds can then be distributed.

All funds must be under agreement with subrecipients by September 30, 2009.
