The DuPage Convalescent Center Regis McGinnis VolunTeen Scholarship is a  scholarship opportunity offered to high school graduates each year.

Regis McGinnis was an active volunteer and a member of the Volunteer Advisory Board at The DuPage Convalescent Center for several years.  Regis was an intregal part of improving the quality of life for our residents.  When Regis passed away, the McGinnis family very generously offered this Scholarship to a VolunTeen in memory of Regis.

This Quality of Life Scholarship opportunity will be open to current High School Seniors who have been an active in the VolunTeen program at The DuPage Convalescent Center for at least 12 months and have fulfilled the guidelines of the VolunTeen Contract. 

Scholarship Requirements

Complete and submit scholarship application and include the required essay.  Your essay should be 250 words or less describing your volunteer experience and how you believe it has improved the quality of life for the residents of the DuPage Convalescent Center.

Scholarship applicant must be:

• A High School Senior who has been an active volunteer for at least 12 months.
• Able to provide proof of current GPA verified by their school Guidance Counselor.
• Able to provide a list of Academic and Extra Curricular accomplishments.
• Able to provide a list of all other volunteer positions held outside of the DPCC.
