Admission Information
Admissions Department

The Admissions Department meets with applicants and/or their family members to provide facility information, tours, and to assess appropriate placement.

Requirements

The primary requirement for admission to the DuPage Convalescent Center is a need for skilled nursing care.

For long-term placement, the applicant must be a resident of DuPage County for at least one year immediately preceding admission. For sub-acute placement (short-term), the residency requirement does not apply.

The State of Illinois requires a pre-admission screening of all new residents prior to admission to any skilled nursing facility. Information regarding this requirement can be obtained through DuPage County Senior Services at 630-407-6500 or toll free at 1-800-942-9412.
