Community Intervention/Education Committee

Mission:  To develop a broad protocol of response to instances of domestic violence for all agencies, professions and the community.

Meetings take place quarterly in the Chief Judge’s Conference Room, Rm. #  2015, 505 N. County Farm Rd, Wheaton IL 60187

Elder Abuse and Neglect Subcommittee
Chairperson: Mary Bina, DuPage County Senior Services

Mission: To promote & implement to appropriate agencies that service seniors, the "Awareness of the Special Needs of the Elderly" sensitivity training and to enhance awareness of abuse and neglect.

Faith Subcommittee
Chairperson: Laurie Flanagan, YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago

Mission:  To enhance awareness and education about family violence within the religious community, recognizing that faith communities have a role in identifying, referring, reporting, preventing and addressing family violence.

Institute Day Task Force

Mission:  To plan and present on family violence and its effects on children for teachers and school personnel during county wide Institute Days held in February.
