COUNTY ACTIVATES EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER TO MONITOR WINTER WEATHER

The DuPage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (OHSEM) has activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in order to monitor the severe winter weather that is moving through the region.  The EOC will be open from 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday through 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

"The EOC will be monitoring the weather and assisting local communities should they need assistance," said DuPage County Board Chairman Bob Schillerstrom.  "The weather that has descended upon our region will make traveling conditions hazardous, and I would encourage residents to stay home if possible."
