Welcome to Giving DuPage

Our mission is to promote giving and volunteering in DuPage County.  We are a      501(C)(3) organization that exists to connect donors and volunteers with opportunities to get involved in local agencies.  At Giving DuPage, you can learn about volunteer opportunities at local agencies and organizations and discover helpful tips on volunteering and giving.

We don’t promote any particular organization or cause. We just want to help you get involved in your community!   Commit to connecting with a new cause.   Check out the hundreds of opportunities with local agencies.

Here are some of the things Giving DuPage does:

Clearinghouse - our website features an interactive volunteer match with volunteer and donation opportunities at a variety of DuPage County non-profit organizations.  Discover an opportunity just right for you!  You can also look at the tool bar on the left side of this page for other helpful information on philanthropy and volunteerism.

DuPage Remembers and Gives... Days of Volunteerism - annual countywide event commemorates September 11 by bringing the community together in a weekend of service.  The weather on September 13, 2008 kept hundreds from completing scheduled outdoor projects. But we have some photos of those who participated on Friday, September 12 and earlier in the week.  See photos of volunteers in action and our list of generous sponsors. Days of volunteerism are every day--see the opportunities that await you!!

Volunteer Recruitment Fair was held on "Make a Difference Day", Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 10:00-2:00 p.m. in the Visitors Center at Cantigny Park.  Representatives from 29 local agencies were available to discuss how  you can MAKE A DIFFERENCE every day. See the agencies in action in our photo gallery. We are planning our 2009 Volunteer Recruitment Fair which will be held at Cantigny Park on September 12 and 13.  Watch this website for additional information as we get closer to the date.

Annual Giving Guide - is the transformation of the longstanding Holiday Giving Guide. The 2008-2009 Annual Giving Guide features seasonal and ongoing volunteer opportunities at 87 area agencies.   It is now available at the County complex, at the entrance to the Administration Building at 421 County Farm Road, and at the Visitors Center at Cantigny Park, among other places throughout the County. Download an electronic copy of the 2008-2009 Annual Giving Guide or see the list of distribution sites for the Annual Giving Guide to determine where to find a hard copy of the Guide at sites throughout the County.
