Component #9 - Creating Permanent Housing a) expand PSH, build inventory of affordable rental housing, develop more rent subsidies, develop housing for persons who do not accept support services.

Objective:  9.2 - By 2008, create twenty permanent supportive housing units for the chronically homeless with twenty more units in the pipeline.

9.2.2 Educate Continuum members about HUD funds and uses annually.                    
9.2.3 Create a new PSH program each year that a HUD incentive is available.                    
9.2.4 See new community housing development organizations.                    
9.2.5 Create more partnerships with for-profit developers.                    
9.2.6 Charge Needs Assessment Committee with establishing priority target populations for PSH projects.                    
9.2.7 Prioritize creating new units - do not displace other low income households (less than 80% median family income) when feasible.                    
9.2.8 Identify funding sources other than HUD.                    
9.2.9 Determine timeline for above action steps.       X
