H1N1 influenza is a newly identified virus that may cause the influenza season to be worse than usual. Protectdupage.org provides you with the most up to date and local information on H1N1 and seasonal influenza.

News & Information

October 21, 2009 (11:00 a.m.) -- At the current time due to high demand / flu mist is the ONLY VACCINE  available.

If  you are between the ages of 2-49 W/ no underlying health conditions please call for an appointment.  If you do not qualify for the flu mist please check protectdupage.org  regularly for intramuscular vaccine availability.

As reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention more and more vaccine is becoming available on a daily basis.   We expect to receive another shipment of the intramuscular H1N1 vaccine within a few days.

Please be assured there will be enough vaccine for ALL DuPage County  RESIDENTS.  Demand for the vaccine is outweighing the supply at this point but the CDC assures that there will be enough vaccine for every person wanting to become vaccinated.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the influenza, the hotline is available at 630.221.7600.
