JUNE IS “ADOPT-A-SHELTER-CAT MONTH”

WHEATON― DuPage County Animal Care and Control (DCACC), the American Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and Fresh Step litter are pleased to announce that June is “Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month.”

As part of this month long celebration, DCACC is letting the public know that their facility has many wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption.  

“This is the time of year when DCACC is over-flowing with cats and kittens,” said Kerry Vinkler, Executive Director of DCACC.  “By adopting a feline friend, not only are you giving a shelter cat a second chance, but you will also have a lifelong companion who will bring you many years of love and devotion to your family.”

DCACC currently has cats and kittens up for adoption of all ages, sizes, and colors.  The shelter is located at 120 North County Farm Road in Wheaton.  DCACC also has cats up for adoption at the PetsMart located at 63 Rice Lake Square, Wheaton in the Danada Shopping Center.
