COUNTY PROVIDING RESIDENTS OPPORTUNITIES TO RECYCLE UNWANTED ELECTRONICS AND DOCUMENTS SAFELY This document shredding event utilizes state-of-the-art mobile shredding trucks, which are faster, more efficient, and have a high-volume destruction process. It will save residents time and money if they are currently doing their own shredding, and destruction is done quickly while they watch. There is a limit of three paper grocery bags or three small boxes per vehicle. Residents are encouraged to bring their documents to:
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
ACCEPTED: TV’s, VCR ’s, DVD players, cameras, computers/laptops, copiers, electric typewriters, fax/adding machines, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, modems, monitors, PDAs, printers, projection, audio and video equipment (excluding video cassettes and discs), scanners, radios, speakers (should not include wood), stereos, telephones and zip drives.
NOT ACCEPTED: appliances, smoke detectors and any other items containing hazardous waste. All electronics are recycled by SIMS Recycling Solutions, Inc. No equipment is sold for resale or sent to organizations for reuse.
