“Adopt a Resident” at the DuPage Convalescent Center

With the Holidays right around the corner, it is once again time to consider adopting one or more of our residents for Christmas and making their holiday wishes come true.  The DuPage Convalescent Center prides itself in providing its residents with the best quality life possible.  One of the ways that we achieve this goal is to ensure that each of our residents receive gifts of their choosing as listed on their “wish list.”

If you and/or someone you know are interested in adopting one or more of our residents, please call the Center at 630-784-4246.   We will then forward you general information about the resident and what gifts they have requested so that you will have the information needed to follow through on your adoption.  We ask that all donations arrive at the Center by Monday, December 15th.  Your gifts will be distributed to our residents at the Annual Resident and Family Christmas Party on Sunday, December 21st.

If you do not wish to adopt a resident but would like to participate in some other way, items from our general wish list are always needed and monetary donations are always welcome. To obtain a copy of our wish list, visit the county website at www.dupageco.org/convo, via e-mail at laurie.Schmidt@dupageco.orgor call 630-784-4246.   All donations can be dropped off at our reception desk or in the volunteer office and monetary donations can be mailed to 400 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton, Illinois 60187
