DU PAGE HOSTING 6^TH ANNUAL ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMIT

DU PAGE COUNTY, IL ― DuPage County will be hosting the 6^th Annual DuPage Environmental Summit, “’Greening our Transportation and Roads” on Thursday, January 8, 2009. 

This event will be co-sponsored by The Conservation Foundation and The DuPage Community Foundation, and will take place at the Benedictine University Krasa Center.  The summit will be a mix of presentations by industry experts including representatives from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, the Regional Transportation Authority, and the DuPage Environmental Commission, as well as professional exhibits and networking opportunities.

Business and community leaders, elected officials, health professionals, engineers and members of the media alike are encouraged to attend.  This event will be held between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.  It is free and open to the public.
