RESCUED RABBITS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT DCACC

DU PAGE COUNTY, IL ― Last week DuPage County Animal Care and Control (DCACC) was called upon to rescue sixty-nine rabbits from an abandoned apartment.  DCACC, which moved quickly to relocate the rabbits in order to maintain their health and well being, is pleased to announce that the rescued rabbits are now up for adoption. 

All sixty-nine are Dutch rabbits of varying colors with both babies and adults available.   The adult females have been spayed, and adult males will be neutered upon adoption.  The cost to adopt is $15. 

If considering adoption, DCACC encourages residents to make sure their landlord allows pets and that all current pets are up-to-date on  their rabies vaccinations. 

Adoption hours are Monday and Thursday 12:00 – 7:00; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 12:00 – 4:30; and Saturday 10:00 – 3:00.
