District 6 Members to Chair Stormwater, Health and Human Services Committees

This Tuesday, the DuPage County Board approved the appointment of District 6 County Board members Linda Kurzawa and Jim Zay to chair the Health and Human Services and Stormwater committees, respectively. 

Newly elected County Board member from District 6 Dirk Enger will serve as Vice Chairman for the Legislative committee, was also appointed a member of the Development, Public Transit, Economic Development, and Public Works committees.

Kurzawa, who will also serve on the Environmental and Finance committees, will continue to lead the Health and Human Services committee in ensuring the high quality of life for residents throughout the county.  As head of the Stormwater committee, Zay will aid in regulating of DuPage County’s many natural water sources and flood mitigation department.  He has also been appointed to serve on the Judicial and Public Safety, Technology, and Transportation committees.
