District 4 Board Members to Chair Public Works, Public Transit Committees

This Tuesday, the DuPage County Board approved the appointment of District 4 County Board members Debra Olson and JR McBride to chair the Public Works and Public Transit committees, respectively. 

VeteranCountyBoard member from District 4 Grant Eckhoff will serve as chairman for the Economic Development committee, and will continue his tenure on the Health and Human Services, Finance, and Judicial and Public Safety committees.

Olson, who will also serve on the Environmental, Development, Finance and Strategic Planning committees, will lead the Public Works committee in overseeing the county’s public works needs.  As head of the Public Transit committee, McBride will coordinate with the numerous public transit systems throughout DuPage County to ensure that residents receive the safest and most efficient public transportation.  McBride has also been appointed Vice Chairman of the Technology committee and will serve on the Finance, Stormwater, and Legislative committees.
