District 3 Board Members to Chair Judicial and Public Safety, Development Committees

This Tuesday, the DuPage County Board approved the appointment of District 3 County Board members Michael McMahon and Kyle Gilgis to chair the Judicial and Public Safety and Development committees, respectively. 

Newly elected County Board member from District 3, John Curran was also appointed to be Vice Chairman for the Economic Development committee, and will serve on the Transportation, Public Transit, Stormwater, and Public Works committees.

McMahon, who will also serve on the Environmental, Legislative and Strategic Planning committees, will continue to lead the Judicial and Public Safety committee in coordinating with DuPage County Sherriff’s and State’s Attorney’s Offices, maintaining low crime rates and ensuring the safety of residents throughout the county. 

As head of the Development committee, Gilgis will aid in the regulation of DuPage County’s many zoning and construction responsibilities, and she has also been appointed to serve on the Finance and Health and Human Services committees.
