District 2 Board Members to Chair Technology, Environmental Committees; O’Shea to Serve as Board Vice-Chairman

This Tuesday, the DuPage County Board approved the appointment of District 2 County Board members Brien Sheehan and Jeff Redick to chair the Technology and Environmental committees, respectively. 

VeteranCounty Board member from District 2, Patrick O’Shea was appointed as Vice Chairman of the County Board, and will also chair the Strategic Planning committee and serve on the Judicial and Public Safety and Public Transit committees.

Sheehan, who will also serve on the Legislative, Transportation, and Stormwater committees, will lead the Technology committee in ensuring that the county’s website and online documentation are as up-to-date and accessible as possible. 

As head of the Environmental committee, Redick will oversee the newly created Office of Green Initiatives, as well as work towards the conservation of our county’s energy and resources.  Redick has also been appointed to serve on the Development, Finance, and Economic Development committees.
