SIXTH ANNUAL DPCC GOLF OUTING WILL BENEFIT CONVALESCENT CENTER RESIDENTS

DU PAGE COUNTY —     More than 100 business and community leaders will tee off on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 to support the DuPage Convalescent Center’s 6^th Annual DPCC Foundation Golf Outing at Klein Creek Golf Club in Winfield.  The event will feature a buffet luncheon and a variety of contests, including a $10,000 Hole-In-One competition.  The money raised at this annual fundraiser will go towards the many quality of life programs and services provided by the Convalescent Center.

Last year’s golf outing raised over $12,000 benefiting the DuPage Convalescent Center residents.  With these funds, the Foundation has been able to renovate the residents’ chapel, build handicap-accessible gardening beds and purchase new physical therapy equipment.  All Foundation projects are intended to make the residents’ lives richer and more fulfilling. 

Openings for golfers are still available.  Fees are $150 per individual golfer and $600 per foursome.  Registration includes a round of golf with cart, breakfast and buffet lunch.  For those non-golfers, sponsorship opportunities are available and raffle prize donations are currently being sought.
