JUNE IS "ADOPT A CAT MONTH"

Friends of DuPage County Animal Care and Control will pay 50% of the adoption fee during the month of June

DU PAGE COUNTY -- In celebration of "Adopt a Cat Month," adult cats adopted throughout the month of June will cost only $50.00 at DuPage County Animal Care and Control (DCACC).   Adopted adult cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated.   

DCACC notes that while this is the time of the year where kittens begin to flood into the shelter, adult cats make excellent companions and have proven to help their owners lower their blood pressure, beat depression and provide years of companionship. 

Adoption hours at DCACC are Monday and Thursday (12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday (10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).
