WEEKLONG EMERGENCY CONSTRUCTION ON CANADIAN PACIFIC/METRA LINE CROSSING

DU PAGE COUNTY -- Beginning Thursday October 22 and continuing through Wednesday October 28, the Metra Commuter Railroad will be performing an emergency repair of the rail crossing where Prospect Avenue crosses the Canadian Pacific Soo Line Railroad / Metra Milwaukee District West Line (between Thorndale Avenue and Irving Park Road/IL-19) in Itasca.

The repair will require a full closure of Prospect Avenue at the crossing and the detour will be posted, utilizing Arlington Heights Road, Devon Avenue, Wood Dale Road, and Thorndale Avenue for north side traffic.  The detour will also utilize Irving Park Road, Wood Dale Road, Devon Avenue, Arlington Heights Road, and Thorndale Avenue for south side traffic.
