The Heritage YMCA program looks for volunteers every day to focus on building a stronger foundation within the kids of today for a better tomorrow. This program will enable you to give back to the community by helping others while providing yourself with a positive sense of accomplishment.

KidsMatter, the Naperville Youth Development Coalition, is a not-for-profit initiative commissioned to educate and encourage character building throughout our community. KidsMatter, founded by Edward Hospital, is based upon Search Institute’s asset-building model of positive youth development.

Special Olympics would not exist today – could not have been created – without the time, energy, education, and commitment of the more than 25,000 volunteers in Illinois and more than a million worldwide! Special Olympics Illinois relies on people of all ages to help in every aspect of the program – both at the local and state level.
