It is the mission of the DuPage County Juvenile Justice Council to provide a forum for the development of a county-wide interagency assessment of our juvenile justice system, to develop a plan for prevention of juvenile delinquency and to make recommendations to the County Board to more effectively utilize existing community resources to deal with identified juveniles in need of assistance.

The Council will work together to prevent juvenile crime and violence and implement successful programs that will address risk factors and help children to avoid or resist these risks.
