States Attorney SEAN McNEES PLEADS GUILTY TO DUI WHILE ON PROBATION Faces up to 14 Years in Prison The charges stem from an incident in May 2005, during which a DuPage County Sheriff’s Deputy observed McNees driving erratically and committing numerous lane violations in the area of “Mr. McNees was given the opportunity by the Court to turn his life around without serving any significant time in the penitentiary, but instead of doing so he chose to once again drink and drive,” commented Birkett. “He is a danger to society and he is a danger to himself. He was given a second chance and he squandered it turning his back on the law and turning his back on the memory of Stacey Blundell.” McNees is scheduled for sentencing on September 5th in front of Judge George Bakalis. He faces up to fourteen years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. ###
