At the DuPage County Treasurer's Office - cash or check.  Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card payment accepted through self-serve computer terminal (the credit card service provider will charge a 2.05% convenience fee for this transaction - no portion of that fee is paid to DuPage County).   

Payments can also be placed in our drop box located in the main parking lot of the DuPage County Administration Building, 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton.

Duplicate tax bills are available to the property owner at no charge.

PENALTY for late payment is added at the rate of 1.5% of the installment amount per month.

COST: An additional $10.00 charge will be collected beginning November 1, 2009, on each unpaid bill to cover delinquent tax publication and certified mailing expenses.

To avoid your name and parcel being listed in the delinquent tax publication, the total amount of 2008 taxes must be received in our office by October 20, 2009.

Payment of the 2008 real estate tax bill after October 30, 2009, must be made by cashier’s check, cash or money order.

The annual real estate tax sale will begin on Monday, November 23, 2009.
