Vaccinate Against Rabies, It's The Law!
Each year DuPage County Animal Care and Control and the DuPage County Health Department keep track of the number of positive cases of rabies found in wildlife within the county. For the health and safety of all the people and pets of DuPage County, please
make sure all dogs and cats are current on their rabies vaccination - even if kept indoors. It's the law.
In-Kennel Enrichment Programs
DuPage County Animal Care & Control staff work together to ensure that our shelter animals are healthy, happy, and sound in the unfamiliar shelter environment until they are adopted. Through our kennel enrichment program staff and volunteers engage animals
with various activities to keep them well, both physically and mentally. Enrichment is a vital part of our successful adoption program.
