The Donna Ekstrom & Dillon DeBoer VolunTeen Scholarships
Donna Ekstrom was a wife and mother who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1984. She bravely battled the disease for over 10 years and resided at the DuPage Care Center until she passed away. This scholarship was established to memorialize Donna’s battle with MS and in

The Dillon DeBoer Scholarship
In Honor of Dillon DeBoer, who is the grandson of Donna Ekstrom. Dillon is 15 years old and has special needs.
Information and applications are available in the Volunteer Services Office at the DuPage Care Center. All completed applications must be received no later than March 1st of the current school year. The names of the scholarship recipients will be announced by the end of April.
These scholarship opportunities are open to current high school seniors who have been active in the VolunTeen Program at the DuPage Care Center, have logged at least 50 volunteer hours, and who have followed the guidelines of the VolunTeen Contract. All applicants must submit
official transcripts with proof of grade point average, as well as lists of academic and extra-curricular accomplishments and volunteer positions held outside of DPCC. Applicants also will need to submit answers to six questions listed on the last page of the application.
