DuPage Convalescent Center Foundation to Host Benefit Concert at Cantigny Park

The DuPage Convalescent Center Foundation is pleased to present the 125th Anniversary Benefit Concert. This event will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, featuring local R&B band “August.” The community is invited to attend and support this event.

“This is a great way to network, reconnect or make new friends and clients all while helping the residents of the DuPage Convalescent Center,” said Ray Valadez, president of the DuPage Convalescent Center Foundation.

Proceeds from the concert will go toward the Foundation’s goal to raise $125,000 to renovate the resident dining room as part of the anniversary celebration. The updated space will double the current capacity and allow for a more home-like atmosphere for residents to dine and socialize.

“This is the Foundation’s first capital campaign. We are excited about this campaign and look forward to providing the residents with the home-like environment they deserve,” Valadez added.

Concert sponsors include Cadence Health and Comcast.

The concert will be held at Cantigny Park, which is located at 151 S. Winfield Road in Wheaton at the corners of Roosevelt and Winfield Roads. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at www.dpccfoundation.org. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate the day of the event for $15. Sponsorships are also still available and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
