Cronin Receives REATF Report
DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin received a report from the Real Estate Assessment Task Force (REATF) formed in 2013 to assist in evaluation of the best and highest use of the County property currently leased to the Fair Association. The report reviews the current lease agreement in addition to various proposals for use of the land presented during meetings held throughout 2014. It also includes an inspection report of the buildings, which are located on the fairgrounds property.
“I’m grateful to members of the Task Force for their diligence and the donation of significant time and expertise as they developed this report. Their efforts will guide discussions moving forward as I work closely with our County Board members to determine the most appropriate use of this property,” said Cronin.
The DuPage County Board’s Public Works Committee will discuss the REATF report during its regularly scheduled meeting on February 3, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. in Room 3500B of the JTK Administration Building on the DuPage County campus. That Committee will develop recommendations which will then be considered by the full County Board.
