DuPage County Launches New Smartphone App
DuPage County is proud to announce the launch of the new Navigate DuPage smartphone app. This free, interactive tool will allow residents to keep informed, share input and stay connected with the County.
“As technology changes our lives, we are striving to give citizens information at their fingertips. This new app is a convenient way for DuPage residents and visitors to find what they need to know as quickly and easily as possible,” said County Board Chairman Dan Cronin.
The app includes directories of County departments, resources and elected officials. It can be used to make payments, get directions, learn about the County’s trail system and even find local animals available for adoption. Users can also use the app’s question form to get in touch with County staff. And the available news feed ensures that residents will always receive the latest news from the County.
“Through the creation of this app, we are providing residents a convenient way to access the kind of information they are accustomed to finding online. Navigate DuPage provides a time-saving shortcut straight to the answers,” said County Board Technology Committee Chairman Brian Krajewski.
The app was developed by Constituent Outreach Consultants, which has also designed similar apps for Chicago area municipalities. The Navigate DuPage app is free and available on Apple and Android devices from the iTunes or Google Play stores.
