DPCC BuildingThe DuPage Care Center is one the most innovative, state of the art nursing and rehabilitation centers in the state of Illinois.  Resident rooms come with 1, 2 or 3-bed rooms. Rooms are assigned by availability at the time of admission. Once you become a resident, you may request a different type of room. Room preferences are on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to medical necessities.

Each unit has at least one private lounge area located at the end of each hallway. These rooms are available for small parties or gatherings.

The Center has several beautiful, well-groomed patio areas including a Rose Garden and gazebo. These areas are equipped with wheelchair accessible patio tables, chairs and umbrellas. Residents and their families can relax in the sun or retreat to shaded areas. These patios are accessible to all residents and their families. The Center also has a garden area where residents and their families can go to relax and even grow their own fruits and vegetables.


Photo of group activityOur Recreation Room is used mainly for large group activities. It comes equipped with a big-screen TV, a DVD player and VCR where residents can go to watch their favorite movies. The Recreation Room also has a conversation area equipped with a working fireplace.


The Resident Dining Room (RDR) is home to many special activities including holiday parties, luncheons and other social events. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the RDR daily. The Cafeteria is also available to residents and their families for dining and socializing. The Cafeteria is open for breakfast and Lunch Daily.  Vending machines are available in the Cafeteria 24 hours a day and are also located in additional locations throughout the building.


The Center has three conference rooms that are conveniently located and are available for meetings. Catering services are available. For more information on booking a conference room please contact our reception desk at 630-665-6400 ext. 0.

The Center is located one half mile north of Roosevelt Road (Route 38) Two miles south of North Avenue (Route 64), and 27 miles west of the Chicago loop. We are located on the West Campus of the County Complex. Parking is available in the rear of the building, including ample handicap.

The main reception desk is open from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Children and leashed pets are welcome to visit when accompanied by a responsible adult.


The DuPage Care Center is located in the Western suburbs and is close to shopping, the train and many other conveniences.
