  • Description: THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT INCLUDES THE INSTALLATION OF CURED IN PLACE PIPE LINING AND PROTRUDING OBSTICLE REMOVAL PAY ITEMS INCLUDE: CURED IN PLACE PIPE LINING, 36" - 363 LF; PROTRUDING OBSTICAL REMOVAL - 2 EA; HEAVY CLEANING - 363 LF; SANITARY MANHOLES TO BE ACCESSED (SPECIAL) - 1 LUMP SUM; BY-PASS PUMPING (SPECIAL) - 1 LUMP SUM
    Note: This project is subject to The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130)

Required Experience: 

  • Please note that the work for this project does not fall under the IDOT prequalification categories. Eligible bidders must have the following experience as stated in the special provisions:
  • The Contractor must have had at least five (5) years active experience in the commercial installation of the product bid. In addition, the Contractor must have successfully installed at least 500,000 feet of the product bid in wastewater collection systems, with a minimum 100,000 feet of 36" or larger, and performed a minimum of 5,000 service reinstatements. A Supervisor for scheduling, wet-out, and installation of product bid with a minimum of five (5) years of experience must be present. Acceptable documentation of these minimum installations must be submitted with the Request for Authorization to Bid, including project description, project location, and municipal and/or engineering contacts.
