Notice of Lottery for the April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election

Notice is hereby given that on December 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Office of the DuPage County Election Division, located at the DuPage County Clerk, Jack T. Knuepfer Administration Building, First Floor, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187, a Lottery will be held to determine Ballot Placement for the Consolidated Election to be held on April 6, 2021.  

The Lottery will be held for any Offices and Candidates who simultaneously file their Nominating Papers with the DuPage County Clerk at 8:00 a.m. on December 14, 2020, the first day of Filing and on December 21, 2020 during the last hour of filing.  All Nominating Papers must be filed on or before December 21, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.

Any Candidate eligible for participation in the Lottery is welcome to attend or, in the alternative, a Representative of said Candidate may participate in the Lottery. Attendance is not required.  The Lottery will be conducted by the County Clerk or her designee.  The Lottery is open to the public. 

Under the current COVID-19 Pandemic conditions and in accordance with the Executive Orders of the Governor of the State of Illinois, the regulations of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), masks will be required by any Candidates or their Representatives and social distancing protocol will be strictly adhered to at the Lottery.
