Hours: Part-Time: Flexible, Monday-Friday, up to 29 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Salary: $15.25-$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:
•    Contributes ideas to plans, layouts, and arrangements for website and social media marketing
•    Prepares written material in the production of e-newsletters and other publications for internal and external release
•    Maintains, coordinates, and assists with the preparation of printed publications, web-based designs to increase public awareness and create a favorable public image of Giving DuPage
•    Conducts research, writes and edits various publications and communications for Giving DuPage and its services
•    Researches, writes, and distributes press releases and statements concerning Giving DuPage activities
•    Prepares and writes articles, marketing materials, brochures and newsletters on a wide variety of subjects using original and innovative techniques or style
•    Coordinates and supports activities with social networks & cloud-based apps designed to enhance and preserve the image of Giving DuPage
•    Assists with planning and implementation of Giving DuPage events and programs
•    Provides a high standard of customer service to Giving DuPage partners
•    Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
•    Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Public Administration, or Journalism

The preferred candidate will possess the ability to:
•    Manage projects and multiple priorities simultaneously
•    Communicate and use interpersonal skills to interact with the general public, internal/external constituents, coworkers, supervisor, etc. to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
•    Learn cloud-based applications for specific Giving DuPage programs
•    Establish and maintain effective working relationships with department and division staff, other departments and others, such as vendors
