Hours: Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., evening and weekend hours as required

Salary: $85,000-$90,000 annually

Responsibilities include:
•    Develops goals, objectives, and plans for community development, energy efficiency, housing, social service and volunteer programs
•    Develops methods for programming of grants
•    Reviews processes and procedures of work unit for quality and efficiency
•    Serves as staff liaison to Community Development Commission
•    Oversees the development and implementation of Consolidated Plan for Community Development and other Federally required plans
•    Ensures Community Development division’s programs maintain compliance with all applicable local, State and Federal requirements
•    Oversees development and compliance of Division program budgets

Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
•    Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Services or related field
•    Five years of professional experience in managing a community development, housing, or social service program or related area of program planning work, including three years experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity

The preferred candidate will have:
•    Experience in the management of public sector programs, including supervisory experience
•    Experience managing the Community Development Block Grant program as an Entitlement Community
•    Experience with funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and other Federal and State resources
•    Experience managing energy efficiency or other Community Action programs
•    Experience developing and presenting policy recommendations to a governing board
•    Knowledge of grants management principles and practices
•    Experience developing evaluation processes as a grantor agency
