Title: Juvenile Justice Clinician

Hours: Full-Time: Day & Evening hours, some weekend coverage for crisis intervention

Salary: $45,104 annually

The responsibilities of this position include:
• Maintain a caseload of high and medium risk, probation-involved juveniles;
• Provide intensive, therapeutic services in the family’s home and/or community;
• Provide 24-hour coverage to address crisis situations on the caseload and participate in rotating crisis 
• coverage for team;
• Conduct case assessments which include reviewing referral information, identifying and engaging involved participants in the therapy process, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and analyzing problem behaviors within an ecological context;
• Engage the primary caregiver and other involved participants in active, change-oriented treatment;
• Identify problems which contribute to delinquent behavior, develop treatment plans and implement 
• interventions using methods compatible with the principles and practices of the therapeutic model;
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts for peer and supervisory review and 
• feedback;
• Collaborate with involved participants in all relevant systems to ensure their buy-in and cooperation;
• Provide coverage for initials;
• Participate in comprehensive training, including quarterly booster trainings, intensive weekly   
• Supervision.

Requirements for this position include: 
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Service field
• Must be licensed as a LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or ALMFT or eligible for certification within two 
• years of employment  
• Knowledge base in the following areas:  family systems theory, social ecological theory, behavioral
• theory, cognitive behavioral theory, child development research, and social skills assessment and intervention
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license with the ability to drive;
• Prefer bilingual Spanish and English capabilities.

The preferred candidate will have experience and/or training in family therapy (structural, strategic and functional family therapy), systems and ecological approaches, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and child development knowledge and training.
