Who can use this brochure?: Please use these instructions ONLY if you are currently married and looking to become divorced, and there were children born or adopted into this marriage, and you do not agree with your spouse about the parental or financial aspects of the divorce.
What if my spouse and I DO agree? If you and your spouse agree on all parental and financial aspects of the divorce then please read the "Getting a Divorce - Agreed" brochure available on our website.
What does this brochure contain? This brochure provides a step-by-step overview of the divorce process in DuPage County. It will explain where to find divorce forms and what to do with the forms once completed. Please read this brochure carefully. There is a checklist in the back of the brochure to help you complete each step.
