Operation Update:

DCAS is unable to take owner surrendered pets at this time.

To keep you and our staff safe, we have modified our operations in response to COVID-19:

  • Animal Services is conducting business by appointment, including owner surrendered animals, adoption consultations, and microchipping.
  • Purchasing rabies tags or picking up a spay/neuter voucher does not need an appointment.
  • We are limiting the number of people in the building at one time and ask that if you are un-vaccinated, you please wear a mask.
  • Intake of a stray animal does not require an appointment, but finders are encouraged to call ahead for procedural guidance. For additional information, call 630-407-2800.
